Dr. Gillanders' clinical interests lie with breast cancer and surgical endocrinology, including minimally invasive endocrine surgery. His research interests include antigen-specific T cell response to cancer vaccines, molecular detection of breast cancer in sentinel lymph nodes, peripheral blood and bone marrow of breast cancer patients, and molecular targeting of EpCAM for breast cancer therapy.
